Of course the south coast is known for having the best, fresh seafood, with local-caught salmon and crab, but there are also many other culinary options to enjoy. You can choose from a wide selection, ranging from fine dining to deli style, organic markets, farmers markets, and boutique food stores, all featuring something delicious to eat and drink.

| The town of Agness is about 30 miles east of Gold Beach, following the Rogue River, with restaurants located at lodges with excellent views of the Rogue - popular stopping points for the jet boat tours. The lodges offer casual American-style home cooked meals such as fried chicken, BBQ pork loin, biscuits, corn muffins, green beans, baked beans, mashed potatoes, salads and sandwiches. | The city of Brookings is in the southern portion of the county, with many restaurants in or near the city. | The southernmost town on the Oregon coast is the port town of Harbor. You'll find several restaurants and a gourmet coffee drive-thru. | The northernmost town in Curry County is Langlois, a very small town with a couple of places to eat. The one restaurant has a laid-back cafe atmosphere and serves breakfast and lunch in an American style, and is best known for their homemade biscuits with gravy, hamburgers, hot dogs, and potato salad. There is also a market in town which serves deli lunches and boasts of world-famous hot dogs served with their own mustard made fresh daily. | The small town of Ophir is located just north of Gold Beach. There is a campground lodge here which boasts the best German cuisine on the south coast of Oregon. They have a deli with homemade sausages and sandwiches for lunch, and a casual family style area with picnic tables for dinner. German beers and wine is served. | The city of Port Orford is located in north Curry County. There are several restaurants in or near the city. You'll find a variety of places to enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner, from white tablecloth to casual dining to cafe and fast food, with views of the ocean, forest, or town. | The small town of Wedderburn borders Gold Beach on the north, just across the Patterson Bridge. You'll find a few restaurants, all with views of the Rogue River. One is a bakery and bistro offering breakfast, lunch, and Sunday brunch. They source their products from local farmers and purveyors, keeping sustainable "green" and organic culinary fare.
