Living in Curry County, Oregon

The obvious attraction to lfe in Curry County is its natural beauty.  We are surrounded by lush evergreen forests to the east and a big, beautiful blue ocean to the west, with wild and scenic rivers flowing from the mountains to the ocean in between.  The mild climate year-round is one of the reasons why more retired people are moving here, as well as the slower pace of life...just right for enjoying your retirement.  You won't be stuck in miles of bumper-to-bumper rush hour traffic here.

Because of the natural beauty of our flora and fauna, we also attract and inspire many artists and photographers to relocate to our little paradise on the southern Oregon coast.  For the outdoor enthusiast, there are so many choices of things to see and do, such as hiking, biking, fishing, boating, surfing, to name a few. Every day can be a new adventure. Rogue River Bridge, Gold Beach, Oregon

Curry County's list of attributes goes on and on: wide open public beaches, the most pristine shoreline in Oregon, adventurous mountain trails, white water rafting experiences, world class fishing, wildlife viewing opportunities, exciting cultural activities, historic corridors and so much more.  This is our life here, and the reason we live, work, and play in Curry County.
